Overview

Fraser's Restaurant, located just minutes from Perth's CBD is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week and offers a sensational Buffet Breakfast on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays (*Breakfast on Sundays only until weather warms up; please see below).

The Fraser’s complex offers the complete package with the award-winning Fraser’s Restaurant, Fraser’s Private Dining Room, as well as the Kings Park Function Centre next door.

Fraser’s is a quintessential Perth experience that places the Swan River and CBD at your feet with stunning panoramic views. It is set within the grounds of beautiful Kings Park, which encompasses 400 hectares of magnificent parkland within the Perth CBD. Kings Park is one of Perth’s top attractions, and just a few minutes’ drive from Perth city, or 20 minutes from the International and Domestic airports.

The contemporary atmosphere and stunning views of The Swan River and Perth city, together with our award winning food and service, makes Fraser's the ideal venue for a memorable dining experience. The restaurant itself provides an informal fine-dining environment that has been recognised in Perth’s top ten restaurants since it opened over 15 years ago.

Fraser’s Restaurant is lined with big beautiful windows that take advantage of the city and river views, and there is also alfresco seating outside on the terrace, under the stars and tall, slender ‘Ghost Gum’ trees that line Fraser Avenue. It’s seriously amazing in summer.

Fraser’s specialises in the finest of local produce, with menus designed by celebrity Chef Chris Taylor. Head Chef (and General Manager) Chris Taylor has been with Fraser's Restaurant since the day it opened its doors to Perth. He is well-travelled and well respected, and is employed by the WA government and organizations, such as Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) to travel the world promoting WA produce. Chris is keen to offer the public fine food as well as an invitation to some very special events.

Chris arrived in Perth almost twenty years ago from Wangaratta, Victoria. Chris has consistently supported the philosophy of using local produce and "letting the produce speak for itself". Enjoy Perth’s finest cuts of red meat, along with a great selection of local seafood, including soft-shell crab, oysters, barramundi, swordfish, octopus, scallops and WA rock lobster. Other items include chicken, duck and goats cheese gnocchi. Vegetarians are welcome; there are menu options and chef will be happy to tailor a dish for you. A great range of salads and sides are also available to accompany your meal.

Fraser’s renowned French Sommelier, Patrick Salord, has selected a 500+ cellar list that best highlights the cream of both West Australian, interstate and international wines. Fraser’s bar staff will be happy to help you select a wine for the evening (magnums are a specialty!), or perhaps a cocktail is more your thing? Choose from the extensive and fun seasonal cocktail list.

If you have a special occasion coming up and want to add that special touch to your experience, then please involve our staff. We can arrange a glass of champagne on arrival, a ‘Happy Birthday’ or anniversary plaque for your dessert, a birthday cake with candles – nothing is too much trouble.

Degustation Dinners are very popular at Fraser’s – and certainly make any occasion more special. Chef Chris Taylor is a big believer in showcasing West Australian produce and invites you to Fraser's for a very special dining experience that will tantalise your palate and excite all your senses...

‘Degustation’ is a culinary term meaning "a careful, appreciative tasting of various foods", which focuses on the senses, and high culinary art. Guests receive a six-course meal, designed ‘on-the-fly’ by chef, depending on what produce he has in, and also what your tastes and dietary requirements are.
It's a very impressive meal, with all the cutlery changes and different courses on varying plates - and a great way to showcase, or take your time and experience for yourself, the best produce that WA has to offer. We can offer them any time of the week and we can match wines to each course for that extra special touch!

Whether it's an intimate dinner for two, a corporate event or a group party booking, we can tailor a food and beverage package to suit any occasion. We also host a great dela of special events, including Melbourne Cup Luncheon, Christmas, New Years Eve, Mother's Day, Fasther's Day, Easter, The Australia Day Skyshow, all of which are celebrated in style.

Testimonial

Frasers testimony from Nigel Satterley

My family and I enjoy Frasers not only because it is one of Western Australia’s finest eateries, but also because of its unique ambience.

Situated, as it is, in the middle of our most famous parkland overlooking the picture postcard view of the city is in itself a major attraction.

But Frasers is more than that. Dining there is an experience. That’s why I hold corporate functions there. Other advantages are the excellent parking and the overall five-star service.

A guide on keeping Kings Park and Botanic Gardens BEAUTIFUL!
