Introducing Fraser’s
There aren’t many venues in Perth that surpass Fraser’s ability to offer a quintessential Perth wedding. Set in stunning Kings Park, Fraser’s has been the centre of style and sophistication since 1993. Fraser’s is mere minutes from the heart of Perth’s CBD and offers 300 complimentary public car parking bays.

Through an on-going commitment to, and relationships with Perth’s best wedding suppliers and events companies, Fraser’s offers only the best. Weddings at Fraser’s showcase what it means to live in Perth, with our fortunate, affable West Australian lifestyle. Fraser’s offers unique, versatile and personalised weddings - whether that is a glamorous sit-down affair with all the trimmings for 300 guests on the stunning Observation Deck-Marquee, or an intimate, low-key luncheon for 30 guests in the Fraser’s Private Dining Room.

Fraser’s offers many different spaces for your wedding. Fraser’s Restaurant itself can be hired out exclusively for weddings, and the Private Dining Room has hosted many smaller weddings. The Kings Park Function Centre can be hired out exclusively or it can be split into two smaller rooms, Room One and Room Two (room two has the timber dance floor). Upstairs is the stunning Observation Deck-Marquee which has 270-degree views of the CBD and Swan River.

Our weddings team
At the helm is Arnya Tait, three-time winner of the coveted “Catering Consultant of the Year” award (WA Restaurant & catering Industry Awards, 2007/08/09). Arnya has designed many a wedding and can advise you on traditional wedding receptions, as well as more contemporary, unique occasions. Marnie Vidovich is the Group Wedding Sales Executive, for all four Perth venues, and has a wealth of experience planning weddings across the country.

Valerie Bauer is the Fraser’s on-site Wedding Coordinator. Valerie is very passionate about weddings and is a kind and compassionate individual with a wealth of events experience. Brett Raiskums is our Functions Manager who manages our floor and kitchen team, to make sure everyone runs smoothly. Brett has been with us since 2007; his calm manner and attention-to-detail has earned him a stellar reputation within the company.

Food and wine
Internationally-renowned Fraser’s Restaurant chef, Chris Taylor, designs every menu and can customise a menu to suit your specific needs. He has experience in creating just about every type of wedding menu possible, including international cuisine styles. You can even arrange a Wedding Tasting in the restaurant, so you can sample your chosen dishes prior to the big day. Chris is a big believer in West Australian produce and hence every menu is a showcase for superior local food.

The Kings Park Function Centre's food is served to you and your guests direct from our state-of-the-art kitchen, with Chef Joe Ditri at the helm. In his time, Jo has cooked for many events, from 30 to 600 guests, since starting at Fraser’s 13 years ago and was awarded ‘Function Chef of the Year’ at the 2007 WA Restaurant & Catering Industry Awards (he has since decided not to enter). Chef Jo can arrange also a Wedding Tasting in Fraser’s Restaurant for you and your partner to sample wedding dishes on offer.


Fraser’s Restaurant Sommelier, Frenchman Patrick Salord, offers 600+ wines on his WA-centric wine list. Choose from the cream of our WA crop, along interstate – and a few drops from New Zealand. The wines offered in our various packages for weddings held in The Kings Park Function Centre are of the utmost quality, and are well-received at all the weddings we host. Patrick has selected quality beverage packages, with various options, that include top WA wines, including Sandalford Wines, West Cape Howe, Rosily Vineyards, Jane Brooke and more. Of course, aperitifs, sprits and liqueurs, as well as local and international beers are all available.

Fraser’s Restaurant
The restaurant can be hired exclusively for weddings, on application only. Fraser’s is a Perth institution – there is no other restaurant that offers scenery like it in Perth, or even perhaps the world-over. The restaurant’s different floor levels provide opportunities for unique set-up and theming. Weddings in the restaurant offer exclusivity, elegance and style,

Fraser’s Restaurant is lined with big beautiful windows that take full advantage of the city and river views, and there is also alfresco seating outside on the terrace, under the stars and tall, slender native ‘Ghost Gum’ trees that line Fraser Avenue.

Fraser’s Restaurant can accommodate up to 130 guests for a sit-down function, or up to 250 guests for a stand-up wedding.



Fraser's Private Dining Room
Fraser's exclusive Private Dining Room is the ultimate venue for smaller weddings. With spectacular views of the Swan River and Perth City from its own private terrace, this very special space is perfect for intimate weddings.

The Private Dining Room can seat a maximum of 32 guests, and accommodate a maximum of 50 guests for a stand-up wedding.

The room features a large timber boardroom-style table (American Cherry Oak), which can be reconfigured to host different sized groups. Elegant light fixtures, a contemporary magnum wine wall, warm reds and timber furnishings feature in this elegant space.

Modern audio-visual equipment (sound system with i-Pod capability, large screen and projector) is available to help you personalise your wedding. Many guests have conducted their wedding ceremony outside on the beautiful terrace. The room can be altered and themed according to your chosen style.

The sky really is the limit with regards to the format of your wedding… Perhaps you would like a formal sit-down affair with all the trimmings? Or maybe your special day sees you out on the terrace, bubbles in hand, watching chef prepare canapés live in front of you, before moving into the room for a very casual two-course meal. We can accommodate traditional weddings and revel in the chance to design a more contemporary wedding with you.

The Kings Park Function Centre
Winner of the much-coveted industry award “Wedding Caterer of the Year”, The Kings Park Function Centre offers a range of different spaces and options for your wedding. Fraser’s Restaurant has an outstanding reputation, known for its commitment & dedication to provide only the best food, wine & service. We are now able to offer the same commitment and dedication on a grand scale, with the Kings Park Function Centre and Observation Deck-Marquee.

The Kings Park Function Centre is on the same floor level as Fraser’s Restaurant. It can be hired as one large room, or it can be split into two smaller rooms, with both rooms featuring vast floor-to-ceiling windows that offer stunning views out over the river and the CBD skyline. Room One is the easternmost room, whilst Room Two is the room that features the timber dance floor.

The entire Kings Park Function Centre can seat up to 200 guests, or 350 for a stand-up event.

Room One can accommodate up to 70 seated guests, and up to 80 guests standing in winter, or up to 100 guests standing in summer (utilising the terrace area).

Room Two can accommodate up to 80 seated guests, and up to 200 guests standing in winter, or up to 250 guests standing in summer (utilising the terrace area).

The Observation Deck-Marquee
The Observation Deck-Marquee is – without a doubt – Perth’s most impressive wedding venue. It offers 270-degree views, placing Perth’s CBD and the Swan River at your feet. This sweeping area sits above Fraser’s Restaurant and the Kings Park Function Centre, and is on the same level as the carpark.

The area features see-through blinds that can be pulled down or drawn up to allow the fresh air to flow. The addition of large heaters and fans create a comfortable environment it in both summer and winter. The roof has elegant lighting and is lined with soft, billowing white material, creating an ethereal atmosphere. It also helps the space act as a blank canvas for any kind of wedding.

The Observation Deck-Marquee can also utilise the grassed areas for pre-wedding drinks, or simply for breakout areas. The sky is the limit when it comes to theming and utilisation of this area – talk to our Wedding Coordinator for suggestions, or to brainstorm ideas.

The Observation Deck-Marquee can accommodate up to 600 guests for a stand-up/ cocktail-style wedding. For sit-down weddings, it can host up to 320 (with a dance floor) or up to 450 (without a dance floor).
